Okay, so I DVR'd 24 Monday night and watched it last night. At the very end was a Fox 23 promo for some "hip" morning talk show from 6-8. Wait a minute, I thought to myself, if that show is on from 6-8, what happened to Ray and Ted? So I tuned in to 1310 this morning and I heard Ted saying how they were finally back on FM (they lost 96.3 when WEEI came on board). I flip to 95.5 and sure enough, there they are (WEEI is still on 96.3). I forgot to check the tv this morning to see if they were off. So, it appears that WLOB is off of tv, but back on FM...

I believe you mean WEEI is on 95.9 and the jab is on 96.3. I could be wrong. WEEI is on 97.1 in my neck of the woods and the jab is on 96.3.

I caught a couple of minutes of Ray and Ted on TV last Friday and they were saying it was their last day on FOX. I didn't catch the details though. Thank God we have a HIP show on now. Sorry FOX, I prefer WGME and the Sarah Long forecast.

I'd watch her read the phonebook. I think she's pretty hot...

I prefer Moira Savage giving the traffic report at 6:20 a.m. "Everything is clear!"

I always wonder when she talks about the White Mountains if she is referring to the ones in New Hampshire, or something else... :)

All I can say is LAME!!!!!

95.5 is LOB now? So those of us too far north for 95.9 and too far south for 97.1 get no EEI over the air? Great. Guess it's back to static-y WEEI (95.9 or 850) in the car and online streaming in the office. No real warning for this on the 95.5 side of things, but I guess I should have caught the hint this weekend when the ads kept cutting off the 95.5 part when they'd talk about the "new 95s". Figured it was the same old shoddy editing...guess it was intentional.

I had no idea.

I thought it was odd to hear someone talking about Ronald Reagan this afternoon. I kept waiting for the sports tie-in, and it never came so I thought - "this ain't right!"
Crazy how they gave no notice on air at all. L/A does not get 95.9 as well as it gets 95.5....

Well..... it was fun while it lasted. As mentioned, it's back to 850 AM or 95.9 FM in the car and streaming online at work. Now that I've had a regular dose of real sports talk radio, I'll break the knobs off my radio before I ever allow Shoe or Joe's voice to invade my world again.

After eating at DiVinci's and Espo's , it would be tough to go back to Chef Boyardee.

Yeah, Moira's report never changes. "Not much going on yet, nothing to report" But I prefer Sarah's "White Mountains". WOW!
I hate it when she isn't on in the morning.

Sarah definitely has a few assets. Of course WGME has a stable of hotties. I believe I only watch 24 on Fox...not a big fan of Fox as a whole.

Terminator is good. Bones too. We also watch Dollhouse and Fringe.

She's got her assets, but I think she's kind of a butter face.

Nope, nope, nope, and nope. I even hate their NFL and MLB broadcasts.

What? Hating on Joe Buck and Tim McCarver? Say it ain't so!

I like Aikmen's work, and somehow Joe Buck is less insufferable doing football games. Maybe because I care less about football.

Sarah Long and Kelly Labreque both started doing weather at roughly the same time, and remember thinking; "there's a couple of diamonds in the rough". Sarah has pulled ahead, but I still have faith in Kelly. Plus I think that Kevin Manix is losing his mind, and she'll be the new full-timer in the morning.

Remember when Kelly first did the weather on weekends?
She was horrible. I'd watch for the train-wreck factor. Much better now.

That Daily Devotion guy has got to go. His stories are often pointless and he speaks so softly I can barely make out what he is saying. David Glusker was much better.
Hey, we're off on a tangent now, aren't we?

Looks like Ray and Ted are coming back to tv, though on a different station, and only for an hour:

That would explain why all the women in the office are going nuts.

Did anyone listen to WLOB this morning? Ray and Ted had some meterologist on from the Weather Channel, and Ted was going off about how the local guys are bad and couldn't predict the storm at all this weekend. He then asks the guy, "Do you know Sarah Long? You know, the one with the big boobs?"

Classic Ted.

I worked with Ted years ago, he's a great guy. Funny as hell.
