And kudos to Phil for doing what he's doing. He's made countless millions on the tour, so it's not like he has to work to feed his family. Love to see a guy who has his priorities straight. Family first.

Not that I wish this on him, but would Tiger take a leave from the tour and chasing Nicklaus if Elin or Sam was diagnosed with something like this? I can't say with certainty that he would.

Fair to say he won't be playing the British now? He did say it was highly unlikely because of his wife, but I think this would clinch it.
