I'm in with Linc's group. I'm not sure why anybody, much less somebody with insider knowledge like myself, would invest $10 in my NCAA pics, so I'm passing on Calnan's.

Is that the sister school to Oral Roberts?

By the way, here's my final four. I put a spoiler on it in case you don't want to be overly influenced by my genius.
[spoil]Pitt, UConn, Michigan St., Oklahoma
Oklahoma over UConn for the championship. [/spoil]
Let me know if you want to see my first round upsets. My bracket is an open book.

It's always funny to hear the "Let's go Peay" chant in the NCAA tourney. You guys have brought up two more possibilities.
"Let's go Ball, let's go ball"
or simply "More head, more head".

Apparently, Coach K was not impressed with President Obama's picks. What a douche.
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski isn't thrilled his team got snubbed by the leader of the free world.
"Somebody said that we're not in President Obama's Final Four, and as much as I respect what he's doing, really, the economy is something that he should focus on, probably more than the brackets," Krzyzewski told a reporter from the Associated Press on Wednesday.
The president filled out his NCAA bracket for ESPN on Tuesday, and the Blue Devils weren't among his Final 4 picks. Instead, he has Coach K's squad falling to Pittsburgh in the Elite 8.
Obama's pick to win the Big Dance? Duke's archrival, the University of North Carolina.

I heard it this morning and you could tell he was joking around.

Did you hear or watch it? Because I saw it and he wasn't exactly joking around, but tried to play it off like he was at the end. And to be honest I can't really blame him. I dont mean to turn this into a political thing, but I remember when Bush came out and talked about banning steroids in sports people were all up in arms saying he had bigger things to worry about. Now we are in a recession and ESPN goes and asks President Obama to fill out a bracket and discuss it.

The biggest difference there is that Bush was proposing government intervention in the rules of a private business (in other words, lots of Congressional time and resources dedicated to the issue), and Obama was taking an hour to fill out a bracket.

True. I dont really care that he did, Im in the group that thinks it's cool he did it but I can see how some may have a gripe. I was impressed to hear that he knew Oklahoma only goes 7 deep.

So our ESPN group has four people picking UNC to go all the way, and one each picking Memphis, Mich. St., Pitt, UConn and Oklahoma. Go Sooners!

Wow, I'm actually a bit embarrassed that it only took me 10 minutes. I feel like I shortchanged my country!

No, no, TFGAR, you were more productive than the President. Productivity is a key to the US economy.
But you are a slacker compared to me. I did two separate brackets in less than 10 minutes. It's a Zen thing. Or maybe that I'm completely guessing so it doesn't really matter who I pick. I don't believe I've watched 60 seconds of NCAA basketball (combined) this season.

With 9 minutes to go Cal State Northridge is leading #2 Memphis 64-61. I doubt Memphis loses but could you imagine.

I love that you can watch any game online for free. I am glad I did not get the mega march madness package since I get the same thing for free. Great watching the memphis struggle right now.Only bad thing is Brando is the announcer. I have Memphis in a few of my brackets to make the final 4 I do not mind them going down and taking a chance with the rest of my picks. In the majority of my brackets I have Pitt winning it all.

Make that two people with Pitt. For some reason I didn't see Jalbs listed when I looked earlier.
0-2 on the 8/9 games. There goes my historic perfect bracket!

In the yahoo league half the people in it (5 out of 10) have the same exact final 4 (Memphis,UNC,Pitt and Lousiville).
Here is the breakdown in that one for who people predict to win it all.
UNC- 3
Memphis- 1
Pitt- 2
Syracuse- 1
Louisville-2
Michigan State - 1
