Wow, This is going to be a great game in my opinion. The Cardinals offense vs the Steeler defense is going to be intense, and being a huge Steeler fan, I'm nervous about it. The Steeler running game will need to shorten the game by having some long drives...and the Cards run defense has been pretty decent this post season. I'm hoping for a 6th ring for the greatest organization in sports.

I agree. I think this could be a very good game. Offense versus defense. Wisenhunt vs. his old team.

If I win $$$ in any of my Super Bowl pools, I'll be happy. Otherwise, I'll be mildly pulling for the Cardinals.

Anyone know how serious the injury to ketchup boy is? If Ward is limited or out, that could be huge for Arizona's chances.

I heard it was a mild sprain and he should be fine with the 2 week layoff. That was just a preliminary report.

You may be thinking that since Philly choked you'd avoid the Pennyslvania Super Bowl hype for two weeks. But this is worse, this is a Pittsburgh Super Bowl. There's the obvious Whisenhunt and Grimm connection, Fitzgerald played for Pitt, and Warner once worked in a supermarket- there are literally dozens of supermarkets in Pittsburgh.

Now I get to hear from Kurt Warners dumb broad wife, 'one for the thumb' nonsense, 'is Big Ben elite' nonsense, Ken Wisenhunt nonsense, and all the other nonsensical nonsense that comes with this god forsaken game in two weeks.

Actually, it's "one for the other thumb". And did you realize that this is Pittsburgh's seventh trip to the Super Bowl?

Go Cardinals!!
When is the NFL going to smarten up and stop using Roman Numerals for the Super Bowl? I can't wait to see the logo for Super Bowl L.

Roaddie, you're a wildlife expert. Is there an animal on this planet that is less intimidating than a cardinal? I once saw a cardinal get it's ass handed to it by a butterfly.

Actually, I'm a finance guy who works with wildlife experts, so I'm no authority. That said, I did a brief survey and it was decided that sponges are less intimidating than cardinals. An animal that could conceivably be used to mop up puke isn't going to scare anybody.

I kind of liked Superbowl XL (extra large)
Wait until after SB 50. Superbowl LI, Superbowl LII (lie, lee?), Superbowl LIII, Superbowl LIV (Liv Tyler? Liv Ullman?)
How about Superbowl LIX (licks)?
The possibilities are endless. Here's to Superbowl C!

I imagine the transitional logo will look something like this.
Super Bowl [s]LXXVII[/s] 77

Those Roman numerals could run for a while.
Superbowl LXXXVIII (88)
Superbowl MCCCLXXXVIII (1388) Starting QB-Tom Brady XXI

yeah, and not just because the cardinals are in and the patriots killed them every fan now has to ponder, 'what could have been?'. I am still trying to take the tape off of my Brady jersey to make a 16.

Boy, I wish my team was 5-1 instead of 3-3 in the Super Bowl, and that picture of Myron Cope makes excites me in a way that I can't quite explain.
Wow!

With Dungy and Holmgren retiring, and Shanahan, and Gruden getting the ax there are only two current head coaches in the NFL that have won SuperBowls as head coaches Belichek and Coughlin. Of course three after this weekend.

Might as well throw Rex Ryan in there since he said the Jets will win a SB within 4 years.
