The Pirates play their final regular season home game tonight, and with a single point (win, overtime loss, shootout loss, or a loss by Manchester) they will clinch a spot in the postseason for the third time in four years. They host Providence at 7 pm. They finish the regular season tomorrow at Manchester.

With their 6-5 win over Providence Friday night, the Pirates punched their ticket to the postseason. They will finish either 3rd or 4th in the division, depending on tonight's action (tonight is the final game of the regular season, at Manchester). They will either face Providence (if Portland finishes 3rd) or Hartford (if 4th).
