I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Hate to say it, but I agree. Time for Washington to focus on bigger issues. The BCS can wait. There are far less trivial issues at hand for any politician to be focusing on sports issues that do not affect the country, only the pockets of the fatcats who run the BCS.

I think that any politician that is focusing on anything other than issues such as the economy, education, civil/equal rights, etc. should be impeached and/or stoned.

"Fans were furious that Utah was bypassed for the national championship despite going undefeated in the regular season."

Um no, I think Utah fans and the AG in that bleepin state were furious, I think most fans saw it as a need to have a playoff but otherwise had little issue with FLA/OK

Alec Baldwin, is that you? I think Sean Hannity is on the line for you.

To be honest with you, I don't believe that how NCAA football handles it's championship will ever be important enough to warrant Congress meddling in the matter. And for a body that has actively promoted legislation that has unquestionably supported big finance, big agriculture, big oil, etc., to now suddenly be concerned about things being fair for the little guy, is beyond hypocritical IMO.

It's more easy face time with no real subsance for these guys.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be changed, far from it. I just think it should spend 0 time in front of politicians. This should be something the NCAA genuinely wants to do away with simply because it's stupid. College hockey and college hoops have it figured out, football should get with the program.
