take this sporacle quiz and be reminded of what used to be.

Those 90s lineups are downright scary...and not in the same way the 2003-2004 lineups were scary. How the bloody hell did the Sox win the division in 1995 fielding an Opening day lineup like that?

Farva, I'll make you feel better...I got 184 the first time I took it, so I reeeeeally need a life. ;) That was two days ago. I took it again after I posted it today, just to see if having seen the answers once would allow me to get 200/200. Not quite...got 191, so some of the ones I missed the first time stuck, but not all. Like the 1990 1B...absolutely no recollection of him at all, not even after looking at his b-ref page.

I kept thinking Esasky was the 1B in 1990. The fact fact I pulled Rivera, Jefferson and Hatteberg out is proof I. Need. A. Life.

I got 171 in my first try. I'm going to wait until tomorrow and try it again, but I doubt I'll remember some of those names...especially the 1B in 1990. Who the eff was that???? Man those are some pretty horrible lineups in 90's.

What are you talking about? I miss the days when we had Shane Mack and Rudy Pemberton in the same outfield. Oh, and Luis Rivera and Tim Naehring up the middle. . .I smell Hall of Fame consideration.
