Hehehe, my pc froze up as I was trying to scroll back to the main menu!
I also had a league last year, 10 players, H2H league. I'm looking to make it 12 teams this year, free league, autopick draft. I have 3-4 openings if anyone wants in!

Moose, send me an email so I can reply with an invite. If you do as well as your MLB 2008 Open team, you'll be a great addition to our league.
Lex, I have your email address if it hasn't changed.
I can be reached at rgarey57@yahoo.com

NAM, Gator here. Are most of the players in your league members here, or are there some here, and some on WJAB board? That can be confusing. Regardless, I'm looking forward to the draft. I think I found a sleeper or two.

It is a mix of players here and at WJAB. All are active players with football knowledge and it should be fun and competitive. Politics will not be permitted. It's me vs. you, vs. him, vs. them. Destructive posts about who posts where will be dealt with immediately and firmly. Let's just have fun.

I have a question or two. I am in NAM's league already. Is it common to play in multiple leagues. It just stinks to think about rooting for your players in one league but knowing that the same player is helping another guy in another league against you. Is this a dues thing witht the $25 or is it winner takes all? I'm interested, I guess, I just wish we had one league.

I joined. I see this league has no draft. We rank our players and it is auto draft. When do we need to have our rankings done?

I fall into the nutbag category, but this year I cut back to only 7 baseball leagues and 5 football leagues.

I beleive you have up until 45 minutes before your draft to pre-rank your players. If you go with Yahoo rankings, you will automatically get the highest ranked player available. I like to pre-set my own rankings if needed, but I prefer a live draft.

The WJAB Fanatics football league is set to draft this Sunday, 8/17 at 2:30 pm. You can be there or use pre-ranks. Either way, good luck in the draft, you're gonna need it!

I need some advice as to who I should start as my second RB. Michael Turner is my main back.
Maurice Morris (SEA) @BUF
LenDale White (TEN) JAC
Chester Taylor (MIN) @GB
Rashard Mendenhall (PIT) HOU
For me its really a toss up between Taylor and Mendenhall. The problem is neither are the teams feature back so its a complete toss up. Both are going up against pretty solid run defenses as well which doesnt help make the decision.

If we play in the same league then without question it should be the Lendale White.......otherwise Taylor....

No offense Scott, but how deep is your league that Michael Turner is your #1? Were you drafting #19 out of 25? I wouldn't call him even a top-10 fantasy back. 11-20 range maybe, but not top 10.
But anyway, I think Morris might be your best bet, followed by Mendenhall. I see Morris as the closest thing to a feature back in that group so he might get the most carries/yards, but all four are part of a platoon multi-back set at best so none will overwhelm anybody. Mendenhall likely will be the Steelers' short-yardage goal-line guy, so he might rack up some TDs even without the yardage.

Actually on yahoo Turner is ranked 29th out of all players and being on Atlanta he will have plenty of chances as being the focal point of that offense. I took him in round 4 as RB's were heavy in the rounds before.

I think Turner is an ok number 1 even though in the leagues that I am in he is a number 2 in one league and a number 3 in another league. It is tough when you wait till round 4. Just like most people I load up on running backs in the first few rounds. Usually to have a decent year you have to have 2 solid running backs unless you are in a league where you only can start one.

Maurice Morris has been named the starter for this week. With such a weak RB group, you must have done well at QB and/or WR. I would look to trade a WR for a better RB. Also, I'd hold on to Mendenhall as he may steal carries from Willie Parker down the road.
