So losing Favre is worth one more win...I can see that.
But not with a rookie QB and no Laveranues Coles. I don't see .500 from the Jets this year.

You lost me at the AFC Championship. Baltimore is the team that I worry about, for the obvious conference reasons and because Flacco could be the real deal. Add a really good quarterback to a defensive powerhouse and you get... two Super Bowl victories.

I have the Ravens at 11-5 that is pretty good.

Anyone interested in being an author on the blog? I am looking for someone to do Red Sox recaps when I am away later this month. Also looking for someone who wants to cover Nascar. The Red Sox recaps I may have someone else but I am not sure yet. Just let me know. Thanks

Nice brief piece during WLBZ/WCSH's 5:00 newscast on Calnan and his blog covering the basketball tournaments in Bangor. Gotta figure they'll repeat it at 5:30 or 6:00 if anyone wants to catch it.
Way to go, Calnan.

Thanks guys. I will be back posting now that Baseball is getting closer and I will not be gone 4 or 5 nights a week at basketball games. With Baseball/Softball I should at least be home for supper most nights.

According to my sources, they just need to cross the T's in his name.

He was the ace at the end of last year and got the ball in the first playoff game. Really it does not matter in the long haul of a season but it was just a fun poll question to see what people thought.

I consider Lester to be the best pitcher on the staff, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't Beckett on Opening Day.

Lester has the early lead in the poll and I heard this is the poll that Tito is going to base his decision on . Actually I think the decision has already been made either way.
