The 4 keepers are on the correct teams and the draft is ready to begin. Everyone check your email. When it is your pick add your player to your team and also reply to all to the league email.

Unfortunately for you, I'm not in any leagues this year. Otherwise, once week 3 rolled around and I stopped paying attention to my roster, you'd be assured at worst next to last place.

The expansion team, Auburn Maniacs, have been quietly putting together a competitive squad. WJAB's roving reporters caught up with team GM RGarey57 today and he had this to say about his teams' chances in their first year playing in the BaseballJunkies League.
"We began our first season with expectations to be as competive as possible in our first season. Fourty of the best players in MLB were signed by established teams before we got to make our first picks." The off-the-wall GM, who has been said to be the "Mark Cuban of Fantasy Baseball", stated that he was very pleased with the 4 picks his team chose in the expansion draft. " I believe that these 4 players make a great core to build around," he said.
"We were very disappointed when we learned that we drafted last in round 1. We would have thought that an expansion team would get the first pick in the draft. This put us even further behind the 8-ball, as now 50 players were off the board and we still had only our 4 expansion picks."
"We are not in this league to make waves, we will accept the challenges ahead with youthful enthusiasm and do everything in our power to bring a championship to Auburn in the near future." RGarey57 finished his talk with WJAB by adding, " We believe that Auburn will get a Championship in the very near future. We have a core of 4 players that are signed long-term, and we will continue to build around them"
In closing, I say "long live the"Baseball Junkies League" and long live LLFF!

Our friend NAM is certainly the trash talker of the league, which is needed in every fantasy league. So I hope he comes up with some clever quotes while looking up at me in the standings.

Make sure you all pay Calnan so I don't have to wait for my money.
BTW Calnan, can you email me your address again. My wife deleted your other email by mistake. Thanks.

Would you rather we just mail it to you directly. Just make sure you don't spend it when you have to forward it to me.

You know what, I am going out on a limb here, right now.
I am winning the Baseball Junkies league this year. Period. No doubt in my mind.

I hear that if you say something enough times that you may just end up believing it!

If you think that is bad, in the league I run we have two holdover players. One owner has Pujols and Beckett as his two holdovers.

What day is this? I believe Calnan leads at this time! You did have a short-lived lead, but keep an eye on those rising Maniacs!
